About Our League

About Us

We are pleased to bring you the another season of the PCM Youth Tackle Football League (5th / 6th grades) & Youth Modified Flag Football (3rd / 4th), and continuing our Mini-Mustangs Flag Football Camp . Our league and camp will be offered to both PCM students & Home School residents who will be entering 5th and 6th grade in the 2024-2025 school year for Youth Tackle football, those entering 3rd and 4th grade for Youth Modified Flag football, and K-2nd grade for the Mini-Mustangs camp. League registration is typically held between Early June to Mid-July for the upcoming fall season. Mini Mustangs registration will follow later in the summer / fall

Teams will be created that will participate in the Carlisle Youth Football League. Teams in this league include Carlisle, Knoxville, Eddyville, Pleasantville and Colfax.

Practices will begin in late August or approximately one week before school begins in the fall. Games are played on Saturdays during September and October. Further details including practice schedules, equipment check-out, and game schedules will be communicated as this information becomes available. Check back on our website for more new or updated information.

5th/6th Grade Youth Tackle Football
Youth Tackle Football is a full contact and as close to the real game of football minus the use of full speed kickoff and punt teams. The tackle program is open to youth at the 5th/6th grade level.

3rd/4th Grade Youth Modified Flag Football
Youth Modified Flag Football is as close to the real game of football using helmet and pads, but instead of breaking down to make a tackle, participants will break down in the same defensive stance and grab a flag instead. As concussions become more of a focus now than ever we feel this is the right direction for 3rd/4th grade youth without hindering the skills development of our young kids. We hope to create an enjoyable and competitive experience while learning the fundamentals of football.

Mini Mustangs Flag Football
Mini-Mustangs is a camp held in the fall for K-2nd grade kids to teach youth the basic fundamentals of the game of football and ready for the Youth Modified Flag Football program.

Practices start the last week of August (or 1 week before school starts) beginning with a camp. The nights of practice are typically Tuesday and Thursdays starting between 5pm and 6:30pm. The season starts in early September and will run until Mid-October. Games are expected to be on Saturday mornings with 3rd/4th Modified Flag games followed by the 5th/6th Youth Tackle football games. Our coaches should be meeting with the league in early August for the coaches meeting to set the schedules.

Registration for Fall 2024 will be open July 1st - 14th. Check back in frequently for updates and dates.
